What to Expect

Join us for an intimate, 3-night Nature and Nurture Retreat at the stunning Joshua Tree House Tucson, a luxurious desert sanctuary near the western entrance to Saguaro National Park.

Our time together will explore the “3·4·5” approach to embracing aging and mortality with an open heart and healthy, life-affirming attitude: the three pillars of Ayurveda, the four ashramas (or stages of life), and the five remembrances. Through gentle inquiry and embodied practice, we’ll reflect on what it means to live fully, age consciously, and meet life’s inevitable changes with curiosity, wisdom, and grace.

Each day includes a nourishing rhythm of yoga, meditation, pool/spa, and contemplative practices, balanced with lively shared meals, morning and evening desert walks, and time under the stars for stargazing and reflection. Creative sessions—offering space for photography, writing, and personal expression—invite you to process and integrate your experience in a way that feels meaningful and personal.

This retreat is designed to be deeply personal and warmly communal. We encourage you to come with a friend, sibling, parent or arrive solo and discover the ease and connection that naturally arise in a small, intentional group.
