What to Expect

No matter the age or stage of life, we are all, always, in the midst of something. From menarche to mothering, a new job or retirement, middle age to menopause, a new house or a lost spouse. 

Rather than constantly reacting to life happening to us, we can reflect and respond and live along with the conditions of our lives.

Over three nourishing days at Breitenbush, we will experience a mix of silent and guided meditative practices including three key skills for mindfulness, reflective journaling and gentle and restorative yoga. We will explore together the rhythmic cycles of nature– daily, monthly, seasonally and over a lifetime. With a special focus on what it means to flourish along the continuum of living as a woman in this world, we will cultivate a space for inner and outer inspiration through personal reflection and community-building as a model for healing and growth.  

Through these explorations and time spent on the land and in the waters of Breitenbush, you will leave feeling nourished, centered and better able to navigate your life’s transitions with wonder and ease.

Allow me to introduce Ann!

I couldn’t be more excited to co-host this retreat with my dear friend and fellow teacher, Ann Curry. Ann and I met at Upaya Zen Center in 2019. She brings over 25 years of experience in meditation and yoga, as well as a warm heart and delightful spirit!

Ann lives in Prescott, AZ on a lavender farm with her partner, meditation teacher Will Duncan.
